First album: I honestly don't know. My brother passed on a few lps to me back in the day, which included Rush and Led Zeppelin. One of the first LPs I remember buying though is Elliott Smith - self titled at a small store in AZ, visiting my mom when I was around 19.
Favorite album: this is an impossible question to answer. do you mean the actual LP? like what rare / pressing or whatever. or do you mean what is my favorite lp of all time, no matter the pressing.. I'll try to answer both. (answered my favorite 5 below)>.
Favorite Pressings.. My signed original pressing of Promise Ring's Nothing Feels Good., my Tour press of Saetia that instead of being numbered has the owner of the label's name stamped in it. My copy of City of Caterpillar's Live in NYC, it is personalized by the whole band, it's hand drawn and has each of their fingerprints on it. My signed copy of Big L's Lifestylez.. . My original Misfits singles (still missing two..). and my Minor Threat In My Eyes "Cousins" press.

Favorite album artwork: Any classic emo lp like Boy's Life, Plunger, or anything Jason from Promise Ring did for Jade Tree.. Actually Jason from Bluetip did a lot of the second half of Dischord's catalog (and he also did Relationship of Command..)..
What are your favorite local record shops to support? Well.. .. I am a bit partial to my own record store, limited to one... however there are a bunch of other stores I love, which include VInyl Conflict in Richmond, Double Decker in Bethlehem, Sit and Spin in Philly..
