Tell us a little bit about yourself: Hey y'all, I'm Brady Bowyer. I'm 26 years old and live in beautiful Las Vegas, NV! I'm originally from Longview, WA. If you know the Green Day song, it's named after my hometown. They played at a little venue named Reid's there in their early days and decided to name the song after the town. I used to love going to shows there in high school until it burnt down in a meth lab fire. Fitting, right?
Anyway, I work in business development, and love hanging out with my fiancee Emily and my two cats, Donald and Daisy. I love great food and craft beer, cook outs by the pool with family and friends, hiking the beautiful Southwest, and a cigar on the balcony while spinning my favorite records!
 
Favorite album: My all-time favorite album is Wildlife by La Dispute. I don't think any album captures the experience of coping with and processing painful and tragic experiences as vividly and relatably. I think it's an absolute masterpiece.
First album: My first album on vinyl was the Deluxe Edition of Underoath's Lost in the Sound of Separation that came with the saw blade 10"s. I wasn't even trying to collect vinyl at the time. Underoath was just my favorite band so I wanted their coolest, most limited edition stuff.
 
Favorite Enjoy The Ride or Enjoy The Toons release: It's a tough one, but I'll have to go with Foxy Shazam's self-titled album. Can we get The Flamingo Trigger next!?
 
Favorite album artwork: This one I also have to give to ETR for your work on The Fall of Troy's Manipulator. Both the packaging and the records themselves on the first pressing are gorgeous. Although not gonna lie, I always forget they're pressed at 45rpm.
 
When you hear the word "love," what music do you associate this with? One band above all others: Angels & Airwaves. Nothing else quite encapsulates, to quote Emily's favorite Mary Kate and Ashley movie, "that can't-eat, can't-sleep, reach-for-the-stars, over-the-fence, World Series kind of stuff" like Angels & Airwaves. To me it's first day of spring, windows down, open highway toward the beach with your sweetie right beside you music. Pure butterflies-in-your-stomach and caution-to-the-wind love and joy.
 
What albums in your collection would make for the perfect date night soundtrack? Dark is the Way, Light is a Place by Anberlin comes in at #1. Something about that album is just... idk. Sexy? Other great albums I think would be American Football's original 1999 album, Stay Home by Elder Brother, Absent Sounds by From Indian Lakes, Moving Mountains' self-titled album, The Peace of Wild Things by Paper Route. All chill albums that set a vibe that's comfortable and inviting.
 
Best breakup album? My worst high school breakup had me blasting Silverstein's A Shipwreck in the Sand and Emery's In Shallow Seas We Sail on repeat. Both nautically-themed 2009 albums from veteran emocore bands about being left in the wake of a destructive significant other.
 
What are your favorite local record shops, in case any readers are traveling through your town? I buy the majority of my records online, but I find some real gems at Zia Records with relative frequency. They're a small chain here that also has stores in Phoenix and Tucson, and they just have very fun stores to spend time in.
 
What have you been listening to more frequently lately? Not gonna lie, I've had The Story So Far's Proper Dose on repeat basically since it came out. What a great album from them. So much of a departure from their established style while still being so familiar.
 
Have you discovered any new artists lately? Probably the last band I found that I really enjoy is Astronoid. I saw them open for Periphery several months ago. They're a post-metal (very busy, ambient, layered sound) with vocals that are difficult to describe as anything other than angelic. Very cool band that impressed us greatly with their live performance.
 
What are some of your favorite albums you have in your collection? Some of my most prized albums are La Dispute's Vancouver, of which only 500 copies were pressed. A tour exclusive hand-numbered/50 pressing of Emery's The Weak's End, the aforementioned first pressing of Manipulator and deluxe edition of Lost in the Sound of Separation, my original pressing of Underoath's Define the Great Line, my complete 10" box set of The Color Spectrum by The Dear Hunter, and my copies of Showbread's Who Can Know It? and Showbread is Showdead.
 
Any specific albums you wish you had on vinyl? Tons. Namely Anberlin's New Surrender, The Fall of Troy's Phantom on the Horizon, Circa Survive's Inuit Sessions and Appendage EPs, Foxy Shazam's Introducing, Showbread's Cancer, The Almost's Southern Weather, Relient K's self-titled album, and Silverstein's This Is How the Wind Shifts Addendum 7".
 
What album would you like to be pressed on vinyl? A lot of Tooth & Nail Records' back catalog. The oldest 2 Underoath albums, the couple Emery album that were never pressed, albums from Oh, Sleeper, Haste the Day, and Hawk Nelson, and Showbread. They really sucked as a label about releasing stuff on vinyl, and I know people would buy it.
 
Scenario time! Lets say you decided to sell most of your possessions + live in a tiny house for the remainder of your years. You can only take 7 records. What are they (Here's the catch - for each person you live with, you have to make one of those choices their favorite album - the more people you live with, the less choices are yours. Yes, this includes tiny humans)? Just us here, so I get 6 whole albums to myself! Plus Emily picked a great one, too. So really it's more like 7. After much deliberation...

Recently heard about and worked with the hacker CyberVenom6@gmail. Com when I wanted to confirm if my husband was cheating on me which after gaining access to his laptop and phone I found out he was.
