Available on vinyl again, this time in a Deluxe 2xLP edition, McGruff's® Smart Kids was originally released on cassette tape in 1986. It has been mentioned on numerous podcasts, but the original cassettes have been hard to find in the wild. The audio was finally located and painstakingly remastered decades later to reissue this sought-after '80s treasure.

McGruff's® Smart Kids includes the viral hit "Cocaine & Crack," along with cult classic favorites "Inhalants" & "Alcohol." Music by Mike Hawes; Lyrics by Robin Nelson and Tim Sloan. The Deluxe 2xLP also includes extra songs  "Take A Bite Out Of Crime," "Shoplifting," "Hitchhiking," and more!

Vinyl is limited to 1,000 copies across five colorful variants. The A/B disc has a die-cut bite mark, because we know McGruff® loves to Take A Bite Out Of Crime!® The cover art was recreated and photographed by Daniel Danger (Tiny Media Empire).

The ETR Exclusive Halloween Edition Candy Corn Variant includes a screen-printed fold-over wrap, designed by Daniel Danger and printed at New Antlers Workshop.

Please be aware that Priority Mail orders WILL SHIP FIRST, so if this is needed ASAP for a gift, then please choose Priority Mail. This release, upon request, can be shipped outside of the jacket to avoid seam splits. This album comes mailed inside of the jacket with shrink wrap on the outside.

We do not have any extra jackets for this release in case of minor damage by the USPS in transit. To clarify, It will come packaged in a full-color jacket (as pictured) in shrink wrap UNLESS requested in the comment section of your order to "open the album & place outside of the jacket prior to shipping." This is a good way to prevent potential seam splits along the top of the jacket due to careless handling by the post office, and this service is free of charge.
