Tom Petty - Damn The Torpedos:  Absolute classic from front to back. Been spinning this all week in honor of one of the best songwriters of all time.

Paramore - After Laughter:  Fantastic album of 80s bubble gum pop with lyrics that are dark as fuck. Love it!  

Eurotrip Soundtrack- Scotty Doesn't Know!..... enough said

Josie + The Pussycats Soundtrack: I've loved this album since I first heard "3 Small Words." . When I found out our friends at Mondo would be releasing this album, I totally dorked out + cried tears of joy. Mondo did right by the album, hosting a screening of the film, bringing the cast + crew back together, + most importantly, getting Kay Hanley + her Josie band together to perform for the FIRST. TIME. EVER. Legendary job - Kudos, Mondo!

Save Ferris - It Means Everything: I remember buying this CD as a teenager when it first came out twenty years ago, which makes me feel slightly old [but I think I'm at the point where I am too old to care, hahah]. Their cover of "Come On Eileen" was fantastic, but "Superspy" + "Goodbye" are my jams.

Freedy Johnston- This Perfect World  This has been my go to rainy day album whenever i cant think of anything to listen to. Great singer-songwriter from the 90's who really doesn't get the appreciation he deserves. Do yourself a favor & check this one out if you get a chance OR check out Death Cab For Cutie's cover of his song "Bad Reputation"

Minus The Bear - Planet Of Ice This was one of the first albums that I ever owned on vinyl with splatter. Such a beautiful album.

Something To Wrestle With Bruce Prichard (Podcast): If you are a fan of 80s & 90s Wrestling or attitude era WWF then do yourself a favor and check out this podcast. Not only does it have some of the craziest
& funniest stories that you will ever hear but also some of the best impersonations of Vince McMahon & Rowdy Roddy Piper among other legendary wrestling personalities.

Demon Days – Live at the Manchester Opera House I know that many collectors are pumped about Vinyl Me, Please pressing of Demon Days, including myself. The other night, I tossed this album on before I went for a drive - it was a fun way to experience the album!

John Mayer – Continuum  This is going to sound terrible, but I don’t think its possible for me to love another John Mayer album how I love this 2006 release.

Phases – I’m In Love With My Life  Once upon a time, a bunch of friends from hella rad LA based bands got together + created a band which they named JJAMZ. One of the J’s [Maroon 5’s James Valentine] had to leave due to other engagements, so the band changed their name to Phases + the rest is history. For now…

Phil Collins – No Jacket Required I’ve come to learn that people either love Phil Collins or they can’t stand him.  I was trying to decide between Phil’s first three releases for my weekend cleaning playlist + decided to go with the first Phil album I listened to as a kid.

Soundgarden - Badmotorfinger 25th Anniversary Reissue: This album is easily one of my personal favorites from the early 90s & I can happily say that this album has never sounded better!

Ace Ventura Motion Picture Soundtrack: Although the music may not be the first thing associated with the classic film, the soundtrack is a true hidden gem. It features a handful of score tracks by Ira Newborn, who is best known for his work on Ferris Bueller, The Naked Gun series, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, & Uncle Buck. The soundtrack also features the Mission: Impossible theme, The Lion Sleeps Tonight, Cannibal Corpse & "Ace Is In The House" by Ton Loc himself who acts in the film.

Bruno Mars - 24K Magic: The latest album by one of the finest modern pop stars, Bruno Mars. Personally, I feel this album is a bit short & not his best album overall, but that isn't to say that it isn't a great album with some fantastic tracks. The title track "24K Magic" & the second to last track "Finesse" are the standouts upon my first few listens. "Finesse" has a real 90s R&B production sound to it, which Bruno really does a killer performance over.

Panic! At The Disco - The Death of A Bachelor: This album is all over the place in the best way possible, but you gotta give it a couple listens to appreciate everything going on. Brendon Urie has become one of my favorite singers as of late, solely based upon this album. I'm genuinely curious if this is going to lead to Urie releasing a solo album, because I could definitely see that happening. Standout tracks = "Hallelujah," "Impossible Year" + "LA Devotee."

R. Kelly - 12 Nights of Christmas: My boyfriend isn't the biggest fan of holiday tunes, but he can recite Trapped In The Closet as if he wrote it himself. This album was the perfect way to slide some holiday tunes in this year. After giving it a listen the other night, I wouldn't be surprised if this is our soundtrack while decorating the Christmas tree. 

Wild Belle - Dreamland: I fell in love with Natalie Bergman's voice upon hearing "Our Love Will Survive" sometime over the summer. I revisited this album a few days ago + I'm glad I did, its fantastic!
