John Mayer- Continuum Mayer is such a talented & diverse musician that i find myself going back to this album year after year ,depending on my mood. I celebrate the man's entire catalog, but Continuum has always been amongst his best to me.
He is long overdue for another straight-up blues album, in my opinion.

Andrew W.K- The Wolf Criminally underrated sophomore album from the king of partying!

Post Malone - Wow (Single) I dont know what Post is putting in the water, but everything he has done in the last couple years has been super catchy. The dude can't really sing or rap well in my opinion but i still find myself listening to his last album & two new singles on a weekly basis without hesitation simply because it's stuck in my head.

I am notorious for being a creature of habit, especially when it comes to my sing alongs in the car. This year, I've decided to get back to my roots, exploring music more. This lead me to create new playlists based on what I come across in my musical travels (what I like to call #trafficjams). Nine Inch Nails I celebrate their whole catalogue but recently have been taking a deep dive into their late 80s and early 90s material along with this awesome recently remastered club show from 1990.

Danzig - Self Titled "Twist Of Cain" is one of the best debut album opening songs of all time in my opinion, I defy you to find a better riff to kick off an album!

Panic! At The Disco - Pray For The Wicked Brendon Urie is a musical angel who yet again makes another album I can sing along to during SoCal Summer traffic. Stand-out tracks: (Fuck A) Silver Lining, High Hopes, Roaring 20s.

John Mayer I love all Mayer projects//songs//track variations. Make a Pandora station and leave it on for a few hours to hear variety that Spotify won't give you - don't forget to thank me later.

In Traffic With Neil Rubenstein     Awesome podcast by Long Island hardcore legend Neil Rubenstein who is also a stand up comedian. Each episode is an interview Neil conducts with a friend (usually a fellow musician or comedian) while he is stuck in traffic traveling to NYC to do comedy gigs. Neil has a hilarious and sometimes warped brand of comedy which really shines when playing off of his talented friends. Check it out on ITunes or most other major podcast streaming platforms.

Hank Williams "Love Sick Blues"    After seeing & hearing this Wal-Mart Yodeling boy all over the internet this week I have had this song in my head all week. I am not a big country fan usually but this is a killer track by the legendary Hank Williams Sr that I suggest you check out.

I have been a big fan of this band for years & have been recently listening to their entire catalog, along with Jarrod's new band "Mourners" which recently put out some singles on Spotify & iTunes.

Green Jelly- Cereal Killer Soundtrack

I am a big fan of documentaries, music related ones in particular. A friend of mine
recently suggested that I check out one about Green Jelly, known for their 90s hit "Three Little Pigs". It was one of the most interesting docs I have seen in quite some time - I only really knew them from that one song, but the story behind the history & future of the band is really what got me sucked in. Since the band's rebirth a few years ago, the band uses a franchise concept where the lead
singer & founder, essentially a weekend warrior in his 50s, connects with artists and fans around the world to join him on stage. Each tour consists of a different line up, many of the people are fans of the band growing up. That is just the tip of the iceberg - Bill, along with his story, is one of a kind & the definition of living the American dream & doing things your own way, on your own terms.

Black Panther: The Album - Music From and Inspired By

There are no words I can conjure up to describe how I feel about this masterpiece. Kendrick Lamar has created one of the best soundtracks I've come across [I'm a sucker for a good soundtrack]. From start to finish, the album just flows perfectly. Let me say this now - Kendrick Lamar is a genius + this album will show up in a plethora of Top Ten Lists for 2018. I'm also hoping that when it comes to award season, this album will get multiple nods + walk home with a few goodies. Do yourself a favor + listen to this album, then go + pre-order the album on vinyl.

That Thing You Do! Soundtrack

Since my fiancé + I got engaged, I've been trying to be mindful of adding songs I want for our wedding to a playlist that I need to go through to see what we will play. I added the title track, then dove back into this album [which I usually do at least three our four times a year]. This album is still phenomenal upon every single listen + I am pretty sure I listened to it half a dozen times this week.
