Tell us a little bit about yourself: I (Barry) am 44, born in August 1975 (Jaws was #1 at the box office). I live in Richmond, Virginia. When I was a kid, my older brother was eight and a half years older than me. He was a jock type dude, but had really cool records! I grew up with all of the Police lps and 45’s, Rush, Queen, Van Halen, Michael Jackson, Judas Priest, Yes, Asia, and so many soundtracks of the late 70’s/early 80’s My first job was at a mom and pop video store. I discovered so many crucial films! From Oscar Winners to random concert films, and then straight into the entire horror, sci-fi, and cult sections. I then went on to the food business. Played drums in a lot of different styles of punk and metal bands, while working bars, kitchens, catering, etc. Toured the US many times, and Europe twice. Had a child . Slowed down on the partying and touring lifestyle. Now I’m a chef and prep kitchen manager. I have been actively collecting records since 1993. I have sold so many "heavy hitters" pre-eBay. And even more recently, have sold a lot of original 90’s hip hop and alternative first pressings, just to buy rare sealed Mondo/Death Waltz records. I mostly collect film scores and soundtracks these days.

What was the best album(s) you've discovered this year: The Colour Out Of Space; Also, I’m digging the Invisible Man score, and hope to get one before it’s gone.
What upcoming releases are you most excited about? Anything on the Record Store Day 2020 list? I can’t stand Record Store Day. I usually pop in later in the day to see what’s left. If I don’t see what I was looking for, I just get them to order it for me. If that doesn’t work, I go to Discogs. There are a few this year that I will probably try for. Black Mirror for sure.
Scenario time! If you could create a vinyl variant, what would it look like? You can choose any album of your choosing, seeing as this is hypothetical. Honestly, I like the crazy color variants just fine, as long as they sound good, but I prefer black vinyl.
